Youthful and Useful Foundation have been actively involved in climate action, youth advocacy and empowerment initiatives.
In 2021, We trained 70 teenagers aged 10 -17, providing them with basic computer knowledge. The following year, We expanded our reach by training 50 Teenagers in computer skills and another 50 in entrepreneurship.
In 2023 as a climate action advocates We joined our fellow youth in celebration of World Environment Day were a clean up campaign was organized, also We collaborated with SDSN in the Climate Actors Acceleration Program where a Clean up campaign was also organized.
During the last quoter of 2023 our focus shifted to empowering adolescent girls: We trained 50 in entrepreneurship, aiming to foster self-reliance and support their educational pursuits. Furthermore, we facilitated a program for 50 out-of-school adolescent girls, equipping them with essential English language skills through Leap Africa’s Sustainability Pathway Youth Leadership Program.
And in 2024 we focus solely on climate action, where we’ve planned 200 trees across Gombe State as well as going to different schools for outreach on climate actions and mobilization to the students.
